Mr. Dougherty is president of AGS Associates, LLC. He formed the company with a unique team of industry-seasoned individuals and strategic alliance partners in July 2003 and through this team, AGS delivers high impact business assessments, business integration, and productivity improvements to our customers. With over 20 years of progressive business experience, Mr. Dougherty leads customer acquisition, industry verticalization, and overall management of our business improvement delivery.

Prior to forming AGS Associates, Mr. Dougherty was a Sr. Vice President for ABB, a global power and automation technology manufacturer based in Zurich Switzerland. While at ABB he held positions responsible for setting strategic direction for the $1.5 billion US Utility Division and as the Group level global executive responsible for strategy, business acquisition evaluation, application development, and operations of corporate-wide eBusiness solutions. In addition, he has significant consulting experience as a National Partner for KPMG Consulting and a Managing Principal for IBM Global Services where he built and ran significant industry vertical and ERP system integration practices.

Assisting an $18 billion division of a Fortune 10 company to develop a best-in-class solution delivery capability. Under the direction of senior management, combined with solution concepts and approach from AGS, this company will create value for their customers by building on base products, systems, and services to create end-to-end solutions. At the same time, they will create a high-performance business that delivers profitably for the company and creates significant pull-through business.

Global Industrial Products Manufacturer

Created and managed a corporate-wide overall e-Business strategy, framework, and metrics to consolidate over 300 distributed initiatives, including several major CRM, supply chain, and content projects. Results were significant, saving over $ 200 million in project savings and a reducing the number of projects to approximately 50.

Large Investor Owned Utility

Created an overall blueprint for managing over 3 billion in cross utility assets. The approach to creating productivity first focused on the operational strategy and processes followed by the integration of critical systems. This was required to achieve the results of moving from a very complex, unmanageable, asset management environment to a structured comprehensive program.

Large Investor Owned Utility

Delivered a business productivity assessment for the commercial wholesale power trading function of this Midwest Utility. The assessment focused on the problem identification and solution definition required to streamline data collection, settlement, and daily closing of trades. The results included the operational strategy and processes, followed by the software integration and modifications required to increase the functional productivity.
