Mr. Ward is an associate principal of AGS Associates, LLC. He has over fifteen years of business experience in information technology across multiple industries. As a British citizen he brings a unique understanding of the global issues that face companies today through delivering major technology implementation programs in the USA and Europe. He has managed multi-national teams of up to 40 consulting and client business professionals and has program management expertise that includes business alignment, scheduling, budgeting, scope definition, and issue resolution.

Mr. Ward’s technology specialties include eBusiness (WebSphere, eCommerce, Java), Enterprise Solutions (SAP R/3, CRM), Mainframe (SAP R/2, PL/I, CICS, JCL) and Custom Software Development. He has led change management and education initiatives constructing and delivering training for executives and project teams. Industry sector experience includes High-Tech, Manufacturing, Chemical, Consumer Products, and Service industries, with a focus on Customer Management, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain business processes.

Prior to participating with AGS Associates, Mr. Ward was a partner with AlphaMind and a Principal with IBM Global Services. His primary technical knowledge covers eBusiness Solutions, including WebSphere eCommerce, secure internet payment implementations and bespoke development using XML/JavaScript/Java. Additionally he has significant depth in enterprise solutions, including the full breadth and depth of SAP sales and supply chain solutions, covering CRM, pricing, sales and distribution, forecasting, availability/allocation, procurement and inventory management. Custom development of software using structured techniques (IBM, SSADM, JSP, ASAP) has covered software environments from mainframe to client/server to internet.

Major Global High-tech Manufacturer

Provided business and technical solutions for Mitsubishi Electric. Projects included transitioning Mitsubishi Electric’s IT support to an outsourced contract, re-organizing systems architecture to work with a central logistics center for Europe and re-configuring the complete IT solution to work with a new business enterprise.

International Global Services Company

Managed the delivery of specialist services to customers implementing e-commerce and secure internet payments software. The role required an in-depth understanding of e-commerce solutions and secure internet architecture. Responsible for the line-management of the services department, including recruiting, project delivery, and resource balancing.

Major Paper Manufacturer

System integration delivery of a multi-million dollar program, covering implementation of SAP, CrossWorlds and other leading eBusiness software. Team consisted of over of 40 consultants and client business professionals delivering business process enhancements and leading enterprise resource planning software.
